Marine pure and AF

Hello,
I was just about to order some Siporax when I remembered I have some Marine Pure blocks that would fit just fine. Any one have issues using these or should I just order siporax?

I have heard of many using marine pure blocks, I see no harm, siporax seems to be more efficient with surface area, but yes, that will do... Cheers

I use a 4" block in my refugium part of my sump and a 1" block that my protein skimmer is sitting on, instead of using egg crate. Seems to be working fine. They have only been in there about a month.
