MARINE PURE BLOCKS

hi guys,
I am seeing too good reviews for this marine pure block for bio-filtration, so i like to use it for my very first marine tank setup(5ft x 2ft x 2ft)
I dont know how much to use, i see its available in different sizes, I have a good size sump(30gallon), so i can use 8x8x4 blocks,

1. how many blocks should i use for my setup,
2. share your views on this product
