so i believe in the purpose of marine pure. i believe it helps, HOWEVER. i have seen some really hot mess's when people have removed them from their sumps for cleaning. I mean some look like detritus bombs and all they were doing was lifting it out..... so my question is how can one prevent the detritus from pouring out of the block when you pick it up and lift it out of the sump. if i can figure this out i will buy some

I run an mp10 in my sump chamber with live rock and marine pure over the last few years and keeps most of the detritus suspended/out of the marine pure and rock. I do test a bit of aluminum in my ICP test but it’s nothing that concerns me.

When time to clean I have them in acrylic baskets that I lift out over a bucket, lift them out slow and next to nothing comes out
