Marine Pure rock - algae?

Hello everyone

i'm thinking of reducing my live rock and replacing it with Marine Pure rock. I have a question, maybe a daft one, but never mind. does/can/will green hair algae gorw on it if phosphate is too high?

I have 2 blocks in the sump of my 300 so far so good

how long have you had them in their and whats your po4 level?

About 3 months P04 ranges from 0.00 - 0.05 but I also run GFO

algae needs light. No light, it wont grow. If there is light, it will grow on it. Chaeto too

Thanks Sharp.... thats what i thought, i'm putting it in my sump/chaeto refugium. so there will be light. i was hoping for some miracle.. i've suffered from green hair algae for ever despite all efforts.... never mind the battl continues
