A 45 gal saltwater tank was setup years and ran good for some time. But the last year the maintenance has been non existent with and the tank is needs to be taken down. The tank is covered in red and green algae on the rocks and glass. Also looks like little white specks on the glass and rim of tank. I wanted to know is there any danger to humans when handling the water and rock when taking apart the tank?

Thanks for your help

Have you considered putting a for sale thread up on this site, or even on your local CL? People look for cured LR and you wouldn't have to worry about breaking down the tank except for draining the water after the rock is gone.
