my clownfish had marine velvet I was able to cure one after putting it in a hospital tank and I treated it. It’s been two weeks since then and I’m wondering when I could I add it back. I also have coral in my main tank so I can’t treat with copper.

Welcome to Reef2Reef. The time the clownfish needs to remain out of your display can vary between a minimum of 45 days to as long as 76 days from marine ich. Velvet is thought to have a shorter fallow period, but I would not do less than 45 days. I think with Velvet the fallow period is about 6 weeks but I would ask in the forum linked above for the most accurate advice.
