I thought I'd share a story with you all on why you should quarantine fish before you add them to your aquarium. I have a 60gl tank that had been running for 2 months and I decided to get some new fish and I'm not sure how the parasite got in but suddenly I only had three fish left. I was able to catch the domino 4 days ago. Yesterday morning I caught the blue damsel that was in there. I fresh water dipped him and put him in the hospital tank but that didn't turn out so well ;Dead. The clown had been on to me as soon as I had the domino taken out of the water. She was teasing me by coming really close to the net and then swimming off and was really starting to frustrating me all of yesterday had been trying to catch her I even set up a trap and she didn't fall for it so I set up another finally it came down to removing the rocks and calling in another person to help while the other person played defence I played offense and we were finally able to catch her we didn't fresh water dip her like the others for two reasons one she didn't look as bad as the others and two it didn't turn out so well for the blue damsel and we were able to safely get her into the hospital tank.
So far so good.
So far so good.
