FYI for anyone looking to turn a Marineland 55 gallon kit into a saltwater... all glass panels are tempered! Be aware...

I contacted support asking about drilling and that was the response.

Thanks for the heads up on this, kind of surprised they put tempered all around. I currently have 2 of their 75 gallon tanks that I drilled for ghost overflows. Bottom is marked very clearly that it is tempered.

I was completely surprised too... kind of doesn’t make any sense IMO.
