I currently have the glass lids on my Marineland 75gal. Thinking about switching to mesh but from what I've seen it's only DIY? If so, how hard is it? And what are other options do I have?

Thanks.

The DIY mesh lids from BRS are pretty easy. The toughest part is getting the right tension on the mesh. Too tight and the frame wants to curve, too loose and the mesh looks wavy.

Knowing that going into it, you should be fine.

Thanks. I'll look into it. Also if the cover is just a big piece, how do I feed the fish? The glass lid I have has a hinge in the middle so I can open it halfway for feeding.

Some brands give an option for an opening. I haven’t tried it before.
I just lift the lid to feed.
