Very nice, I'm liking that bare bottom

That is sick!!! Where did you score that at?
Thanks, got it from WWC

Took me a while to get used to it. Actually bought some ReefFlakes sand I was going to put in but changed my mind. Starting to look much better now that it's getting covered with Coralline.

Lots of advantages to the barebottom for sure

Here's a few more Acros,Starting to get some better growth and color out of them. Tank is at the 8 month mark, so still young.

That's a Red Dragon on the right and PC Superman on the left. Forest Fire Digi in the back center. Few more frags here also

Added a Flame Hawk yesterday. Hope I'm not pushing my luck. He's pretty cool though

What a great build. I'm really liking the rimless tanks these days!

Got a new lid from one of the sponsors on here. Pretty awesome, way nicer than the aluminum one I made. Pricey though but what isn't in this hobby? ;)

Watch for warping. I've read of a few people having warping issues. Acrylic soaks in moisture. They do look very nice.

Wow, they haven't been making them for very long for them to be warping already.....great. Guess that's nothing compared to worrying about my Marineland tank coming apart at the seams ! ;)

NEW!! ClearView Frame Mesh Lids!!

This is a great and very important question. Our ClearView Lids are made from Polycarbonate (Lexan) plastic, not acrylic. Polycarbonate absorbs moisture far more readily than acrylic does. This allows a balance between sides so you don't see the warpage caused by humid/dry conditional differences.

Lexan is a good deal more expensive than acrylic, more difficult and time consuming to machine, and is SUPER impact resistant. Acrylic is 8-10 times more impact resistant than glass. Polycarbonate is about 200 times more impact resistant than glass. Even the small 1/8" thick tabs on the lids corners can survive an extreme beating which they will never see on your tank. We have beat lids against brick walls as hard as possible, tried to bend them in half, ran over them with a truck and even shot them with .22 and .38 caliber ammunition. They are VERY durable and built to last. If you do ever wear out the screen it is designed to be user serviceable and replaced when needed.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
