Marineland Reef Capable LED Lighting System

I have been out of the hobby for about four years and I'm looking to get back into it. I'm looking at LED lighting for a 75-gallon aquarium. I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with the Marineland Reef Lighting. I'm looking at putting mostly LPS but might want at some time to add some SPS or clams. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I recommend you keep looking, That fixture isn't very good. I usually compare it to a 2 bulb t5 fixture as far as light output and spread. It wouldn't be bad if you just need light for a fowlr tank but for the price I again would consider other options.

I use kessil lights they work really good for me I grow sps, lps an zoas they look really nice very natural but pricey

Marineland donated a reef capable system to me after hurricane sandy. After a year of use On my 60 gallon cube I can safely say it grows anemones zoas montipora and softies just fine.

+1 on the Kessil's...i've got everything growing in my tank that's been cycled since end of March.

I have the 24inch Reef capable with built in timer on a 29gal. I also have been out of the aquarium game for many years. Basically i wanted to go cheap but something decent and i didnt do a lot of home work. I will say i have successfully kept different zoa's, 4 dif acans, couple types of favia's , couple blasto's and alveopora. I had a Bubble tip but all it ever wanted to do was hide under rocks away from the light. I gave BTA away. My zoas dont always seem happy and i find myself moving them all the time. None like to be directly under the light. I find myself moving the light fixture back in forth over the tank whenever i walk by. Guess what im trying to say is that the light works and keeps my LPS and Zoas going. But i do not like the color, tends to orange out most colors in my corals except for the greens. And a very "windex" blue without the whites. I regret not doing more research and not spending on a better fixture. Once you start buying corals and noticing they dont look like they did when you purchased them you will regret going cheap.

I should and that my tank has only been running with livestock for about 6 months. The light has worked well with no issues. It will work for you. But if you are going to put quality corals in side your tank i would recommend to keep researching and save a few more dollars. Hope this helps.
