Marineland Tank years in service?

I have a MLD 220g 72"x24"x30" on a MLD stand that was purchased at an LFS ~3yrs ago (I am the second owner, was originally set up by the LFS at my neighbor's and then moved into my house ~1yr after original set up).

I have seen/heard some negative experiences with busted seams or lower panels on this tank specifically.

I would be interested in people's experiences and how long they have been operating their large MLD tanks without issue.

I do not currently have any issues (knock on wood!) but would be interested in hearing from those folks that have been running their tanks for extended periods without issue...OR, if the general experience is less favorable.

They are well known for giving out in the middle of the night but seemed to be the larger ones like 240g, 300DD

my marineland tank is manufactured Dec 2003, its still my main tank today, never ever had an issue (knocking on wood)
