MarinePure in reactor?

Has anyone tried putting MarinePure spheres/irregulars in a reactor?

I’m toying with the idea.

Thanks. Not sure if the difference is semantics, but other than scale is there a difference between a bioreactor like that and just putting a cube of MarinePure in a low flow spot in your sump?
