A nearly late entry in the thrifty category:

- complete Eclipse Hex 5 (or its Wal-mart knockoff), thrift store: $5
- side table "stand", thrift store: $10
- partial can of black spray paint: $2

I have lots of travel this month, so I'll be putting off posting any updates for a few weeks.

Won a $39 coral and a $50 Visa card in the WWC Live Sale, bringing my coral total to -$11.00.

Guess I should get some water in the tank soon.

I have a problem. While I was at work today, one of the kids knocked the empty tank off the table and it is broken beyond reasonable repair (there's a gash in a wall). Does anyone object if I substitute another empty tank of a different size? I can post a new verification picture. Should I make a new thread to reflect that it is not an Eclipse Hex 5?

The cutoff date for entries is June 30th. Equipment modifications or additions (other than the display tank itself)can be done at any time. The only exception for the display tank would be a catastropic tank failure (ie ruptured seal, cracked glass).

If the ruling is that the above exception would have only applied if it already had water in it, I understand completely. I just can't justify the cost of a new Hex 5 and it's unlikely I'll find another used one in time.

Replied to your PM. Good luck with your build!

Destination: Procrastination 2.0

I'm going to use a 20H to replace the broken Eclipse Hex 5. Both are pictured below, taken today.

Last livestock added

I've added all the livestock I'm going to add, and with 25 minutes to spare!

Here is the first batch of pics. I'll add some more closeups a bit later. I'm waiting on a receipt for a few pieces, and I have to figure out how to value the pieces I fragged from our nano cube. (My first real attempt at fragging, thanks to Nano in 90.)

Last two, including FTS

Equipment, rock and coral placement is definitely subject to change.

I have to figure out how to secure the red dragon's breath.

Looking goood! Have you tried to rubber band the dragon's breath to where you want it?

No, I haven't. But I will, at least until I find something better. Otherwise, it's just going to keep getting stuck on the filter intake.
