Not even sure what happened.

You can see a difference between the two photos. I am little bummed out about. But I do have a brighter side
of this situation I went through.........
Good news is.........I get to say goodbye to the two Penquin HOB filters and goodbye to the Seaclone
because how i get to start over with a 29g refugium sump (better filtration) and a Bubble Magus NAC3 skimmer.
Hooked up the sump 2 1/2 weeks ago
used a 29g for my fuge/sump. The fuge area holds 6g by itself, over all holding capacity of sw is 14g total.
Only I would change if I were to make another one, I'd definitely make a detris trap before going into the return area.
Other than that, this sump is getting the job done well.

Hooked up and running.
The return pump I am using is a Quiet One 2200. I paid $25 for it new and still in th box.
So I cannot complain.
I do have shutoff valves and have a union valve

Added a few pieces of live in the refugium area

the skimmer seems to be working pretty well. I cannot get over how impressed I am over this new
skimmer.
How have some macro inside the refugium area and added couple more pcs of live rock
Also bought a new led light for the refugium. Nothing special, just a Par20 white led 3k at
Lowes. I will get a more suited here soon
