good evening,

Does anybody recognise the marks on my Kole tangs face/head that have appeared today. Hard to show, but they look like blotches.

Thanks

Chris

He’s been mostly on brine shrimp with garlic. He’s been a little off the flake food. I’ve been putting seaweed in during the day a couple of times a week but not sure if he is taking it.

Is it fixable?

Brine shrimp is very low in nutrients. Kinda like plain popcorn for humans.

What would you suggest instead?

If you can, go to frozen cubes. Get an assortment of several varieties. For tangs: seaweed, mysis, etc. Put into a tupperware container and let it "slump." Mix with a few drops of a vitamin like Zoecon, which is formulated to help with HLLE. The mix will stay good in your fridge for a few days. My fish love the "smoothie."

Agreed. Cut way down on the brine shrimp and garlic. Get a real vitamin supplement such as the zoecon mentioned above or even Vitachem and/or Selcon.

Mysis shrimp, fish eggs, chopped fish, clam, shrimp, squid and LOTS of Nori (dried seaweed).
