Hi, I have a Maroon Clownfish that I got 6 months ago as a juvenile. I put a small anemone in there in it took a good month or longer before he started hosting it. I recently got another anemone 3 times the size of my first one, Will the Maroon eventually host both or do clownfish only ever host one anemone and if so is it possible he will host the new one and not bother with the first one anymore? Any thoughts or knowledge on this is greatly appreciated THAnk you!

Mine was hosting in both, then I got her a buddy, and they both host, and switch

Same here.
Both my BTA's host my female clown. :)

I have three bta's and my brown saddle clowns host in all of them...and fiercely protect all of them too

I have 2 maroon clowns and 3 bta"s. 1 clown lives in only the gbta. The other clown has 2 rose anemones it mostly stays in but it also checks out my Aussie torch and frogspawn pretty regularly. FTS showing where they stay most of the time. Also the maroon clown that stays in the Gbta won"t let anyone near "his" nem.

I have 10 rbtas and my clown usually hosts the 3 biggest ones, she has her favorites =)

I have a clownfish pair and when my anemone split they hosted both.
