Hi, there I recently purchased a maroon clown fish from live aquaria. After he went through copper.(I'm doing the 10 day qt method) I got him out to transfer him to the observation tank. Upon entering the tank he became lethargic and was breathing quite fast. The water is new and fresh, so ammonia wasn't the problem. (However I did have quite a hard time catching him, so that could be the reason why he's stressed). He was normal before I put him in the new tank for observation and upon coming close to the observation tank one time today he suddenly started to swim everywhere and ram and bounce on the sides of the tank. Will he settle down and relax? is he just stressed?

That's funny...
I think I would act the same way if someone put me in a copper bath and threw me into a strange surrounding and people I didn't know.
Maybe get him some antidepressants for a while till he adjusts ;)

Just kidding,
Depends on a lot of things, but if all went well, he should calm down

What do you mean by the water is new and fresh?
Is this a new tank?

You know some salt mixes do release amo when newly mixed and require some time to level out

Just new Water 100% in the observation tank and I did let the water to time out for about 3-4 hours after aerating it.

Curious on reason for 100% WC?

Hopefully it was just stressed on transfer, I would expect that should have calmed down some by now
