Maroon clown fish

Just curious, what price do you think I should ask for a egg-laying pair of maroon clownfish? They are misbars, but they are nice misbars. The front stripe is just a cap on the head and the male has one little dot on each side of his head behind the eye. I just dont know how much a pair would sell for at most of our local fish stores singles are from 39 to 59 but I will not ask fish store prices.

you should contact matt in knoxville, he usually will pay good money for egg laying pairs. Unless you got them from him, then he wont mix breed I dont think. But if you found someone who wanted exactly what you have I would agree with dave, $150 + unfortunalty you may have to wait to find someone wanting a pair in chattanooga. try posting in knoxvilles forrum and see if matt says anything

Thanks guys, Im not really looking to get 150+ out of them, I would like to sell them somewhat locally, I dont want to ship fish. I would like to get a descent amount out of them but I would entertain offers on them, they are out of my main display so if anyone is interested they are ready to go.

Matt drove to my house and offered me $150 more than I took for the pair of cinamon clowns I had. I sold them for $150 I think and told him instead of the amount he offered me to just get me a young male for my big momma perc. and a few other fish. It worked out well. he says mine have made a great breeding pair for him.

yea when they get settled in they will bite the crap out of you i you get to close to where they are nesting. I do have a pair of onyx in the tank with them and they dont seem to bother them much and the onyx are a lot smaller than the maroons, but they will bite your hand. Sounds to me like a big trade is in order.lol

Oh the digi is getting a nice greenish base. Darker every day. It likes the highlight IMO. The rainbow is doing awesome. Blue base with nice colored polyps.

Seriously what are you looking for?

nothing particular, if you have sps I dont have, maybe a couple polyps of a rainbow acan of some sort not really sure, havent seen your tank in a while. Let me know what you are willing to get rid of some of.
