So I have a small male maroon & gold stripe clown (great white) in my tank. He's quite the jerk, constantly bumping (nipping) me when I am in the tank aqua-scaping or whatever... thats fine.

Today I caught him nipping the tips off of my new Aussie gold torch! Not cool, what the heck?!

I moved the torch away from the clowns area, so I'm not sure if it was just too close or what. They have been in the tank together for a few weeks.

Is this normal? he might have to go!

Is he taking chuncks off or is he just sucking. If he is sucking then the torch is expecting a host soon

He actually took one of the tips off.... I saw it float way... now its just a nub

Wow. This is a first for me. Let us know if the move worked. Like you said, he may have just been "protecting is territory" from the newcomer.
