Maroon clownfish and carpet anemone

Anyone have any success keeping a maroon clown and carpet anemone. Just picked up a jumbo size maroon probably 5-6 inches and have a fairly large green carpet anemone

Haddon's carpet anemone? Indicates yes, but rare for clownfiah.

Thats a big maroon, so maybe. I never had mine with a nem, but they are tough bastids. So it may be fine, especially if there is no hosting.

It looks like a pig, I recently lost an female tomato nearly that size. I'd love to have that maroon, had a pair years ago in fowlr, female was mean as hell. I wonder if it was a trade in before you got it? Definitely one of the biggest I've seen!

It was a trade in snagged her for 40 bucks. Probably around 6-7 years old

Blacked out the lights purple tang was not a fan at first was fine then it started flashing at the clown. The clown is almost as big as the PT just little bit of territorial I guess.

That purple tang will have all it can handle with that maroon. Imho that will settle fairly quickly.

I think so. First plop in for the clown give it three days before the maroon says something to the purple tang.

I used to keep my trio of gold nuggets and a Lightning maroon. They all used to sleep in there and they loved it
