I have read that clownfish are sensitive to copper and should not be exposed to levels above 0.15. I also read that this is referring to free copper.
My question is, if that is true , is free copper different from ionic or chelated? And if yes, is it then safe to treat clownfish with copper?
What exactly does 'copper sensitive' mean with clownfish anyways? Outright death, shortened lifespan, suppressed immune system/appetite?
And if one cannot treat clownfish with copper, what do you use to treat a clownfish with disease? About the only thing I have access up to here in the Great Canadian Wilds is copper products, and 'natural medicines' which I have yet to use, but am guessing aren't the most effective things out there.
