I purchased a pair of maroon clowns a week ago and currently have them in QT. This morning I noticed the smaller of the two has a white lump on his lip that wasn't there yesterday. Does anybody know what it is? I am currently treating with copper for preventative purposes.

Could be a couple of things. Often when dosing with copper, which suppresses the immune system, a fish can experience bacterial infections and or Lymphocystis. Do you have any antibiotics if it's a bacterial infection? If it's the beginning of Lympho, there's not much to do other than pristine water conditions and high quality food + vitamins like Selcon, etc. Lympho is usually harmless, but it can be contagious.

Ok thanks! Should I remove the copper before giving the antibiotics?

If it's cottony or cauliflower like, its probably Lympho.
If it's smooth and filmy is probably a bacterial infection. Yes, you can dose antibiotics with copper: kanaplex, furan2 are all good to treat.
