Anyone know what this is? Appeared out of nowhere one day. Appears to be the only one like it in my whole tank.

Looks like a fan worm to me. Does it retreat into a whole when your hands go into the water or if touched?

Nope, nothing happens if it's touched. It's also fully spherical, the center is filled in as well, unlike a featherduster.

The reason I mentioned Pocillopora is that they are able to reproduce asexually and send larva out in to the water column, so you get little ones popping up all over the place.
