You should have added together you may have aggression issues. Also they are very territorial.

+1

if you dont have aggression issues and they do pair up, the female one will grow quite large, 5-6"... as mike mentioned they are extremely territorial, even to the point of going after your hand..

...hence why I only keep one lol..he's still territorial and doesnt appreciate anyone getting too close to his anemone but otherwise he tolerates his tankmates

how big is your tank?

You can add either a white or gold stripe, just add a very small juvy, small as you can find, and best to intro in a floating breeder box or specimen container

ok thanks you at least i t got some replys on this forum would it be better to get a bubble tip as i was thinking of adding one what size should i get

As far as a new clown, I'd say an inch and a quarter or less, as for BTA, we usually go at least 3-4x the size of the clowns or bigger.
It's real important to intro in a specimen container of some kind, especially w/ maroons, a female may reject a male and can kill it before you even get a net sometimes.
Float that container and watch to see if she is lashing out, or just mildly curious, it should be fairly obvious.

ok thanks no to go find one looking the for a bubble tip and had no look live in Hull in uk
