Hi,
i have 2x 165w mars aqua units coming next on monday,
and am going to get new corals at the same time (currently have no corals in tank).
I was going to hang the lights about 11" above the tank .
What percentage roughly should i have the white and blue channels on when i first get the corals?
And how often and by how much should i turn them up?
Also once they are set to the correct long term britness ,when i add more corals do i repeat this process each time?

Thanks Mark

How deep will the corals be in the tank?

I got 4 LPS later today , Tank is 20" high,
Hammer at 10" , .........Lobo just off substrate on a bit of 1/4" rock , long tentacle plate, and gony on substrate.

I would start around 20-30% and work your way up 5% weekly until you get to where you want the light to be at.

Ok nice one thanks,
What about actinic blues , maybe like 20 white , 40 blue?

When I had a 16" SB reef lights over my tank, I had blues at like 65% and whites at 30% or something close to that at least. They are very similar lights so I would find a color ratio that looks good to you and adjust intensity from there.
