Mars Aqua LED Black Box Height

I'm hanging these boxes up and I currently have them at 8" but feel like I should have them a bit higher. I was curious to what some others have them at? I mostly have sps corals.

Depending on the width of the tank. 12 to 15 inches.

Theres a picture in this link that shows an easy way to see how much spread a light has Buy pointing it to the floor or carpet.

I prefer to hit as much of the top of tank as I can rather than stay close and pound the bottom. This reduces shading.

I would at least try to hit and cover the entire bottom of the tank.

Yea I just raised them to 14" and it looks 10x better
