Masstick and meds

Has anybody tried combining meds with Masstick? I don't have any problems right now (knock on wood) but I figured if it's an effective carrier of meds I keep some on hand.

I feed frozen and live foods only, but if I wanted to feed my CBB some pellet or other type of food he doesn't normally eat I'd mix into some Masstick. The CBB and my Melanurus go crazy when I put in some Masstick once and a while. A problem I see with adding Meds to Masstick is collateral deaths to the CUC if they happen to eat some if used in the DT.

A good point, however that issue remains no matter what kind of food you use as a vehicle for the meds. At least with the mysis and pellets you can control how little goes in at one time so the risk is as minimal as possible. I have never personally used mastick with meds, so I'm unsure, though I don't see any issues with that other than the one stated here.

Do you stick it to the glass or to the rock work? Most of the videos I see with it are stuck the glass but I wonder if stays stuck long enough for it to be consumed.

I have used it many times with meds, I dont have any issues with my clean up crew getting it, all my fish eat it up before cuc can even get to it. I stick mine to the glass.

I stick it to the glass or an empty clam shell.
