Masterflex error help

I have a Masterflex 7523-50 that’s suddenly displaying an “Err 1” message and stopped working.

when I press the start/stop button, all I hear is a “click”, the motor will not spin and the error is displayed.

I checked the manual and all is says is to press start/stop again, which isn’t very helpful. I emailed Cole Palmer technical support and all they told me is that they don’t support this model anymore and sent me a link to buy a new pump that was $2655... no, thank you

does anyone have any idea whether this pump can be fixed or something I should try?

I would just buy any number of reef-specific peristaltic pumps for a MUCH more reasonable price. Alternately, you can see if there are some medical equipment forums that can help.
