I think it was lighting, it was under LED's before I got it, when i got it it went under a halide, I was scared to have it directly under so I had it shaded, now t5's. My t5's aren't really on the white scale though. Honestly I don't know! It was QT a month before I received it, that's what I was told anyway. If it helps the trade I bet the ring comes back in your tank haha
