Just picked up a mated pair of Potter's Angels from ReefWise in Lisle IL. The pair are enjoying the quarantine tank for now. I will try to post better pictures down the road. I usually am not this excited over fish. Both are doing great and started feeding the day after I introduced them to the tank. They are eating everything from Mysis to pellets. I just want to thank Brian at Reef Wise for carrying such beautiful and healthy fish.

Nice! beautiful fish!

Are they truly a mated pair? Or just a pair?

Years ago I had a pair that had just started showing pre-spawning behavior before a series of events (( out of my control )) lead to a main pump failure and their death.

Great looking pair.

I was assured that they were collected together as a pair. The store imports directly from the divers from around the world. They have been inseparable for the short time I have had them. even at the LFS they were together. I know that doesn't guarantee anything. But then again I am an optimist.

Very cool. These guys are more sensitive to parasites than some other centropyge so I hope they were properly quarantined. Beautiful fish!

They are actually in my 40gal breeder quarantine/frag tank right now. If I need to treat with copper or antibiotics, I will move them to my true bare bones qt tank. I have found that fish seem to have less stress introducing them to a cycled 40gal versus a bare bones tank with a sponge filter. I just give them a prazipro dip before placing them in the 40gal. Usually the Prazipro messes with their system for a couple of days until they start eating again. This typically rids them of any flukes but doesn't do anything for Ich. I'm not a big fan of copper unless needed. I might put them in a bare bones tank with copper or try the tank transfer method before adding them to the main display tank. If anybody like humblefish/3fordfamily has advice on this I would be more than happy to listen.

I got a pair a couple months ago. My favorite fish by far. Until I added princess anthias and helfrichi darts. I have to say they are my 3 favorite fish for a nano. Great looking pair!
