Can Seachem Matrix be ran in a reactor? I believe it is a ceramic media and I am not sure if it would break apart from tumbling.

Yes it can but I would not tumble it. Its pumice, even if Seachem dances around the answer when asked, and turns to dust if ground together. Take two pieces and rub them together and see what happens. Also make sure you rinse it well before use as there is alot of dust that comes off.
Packed into a reactor with no movement it will work well.
Take alook at Eheim substrate pro, its sintered glass, easy to clean, and works well in a recvtor.

Interesting, would that be better to tumble in a reactor or not?
