Matt and Mallorie's Mixed Reef 120 Build Thread!

Hey everyone!
The husband and I just upgraded our tank. We currently have a 55 gallon running. Thought I'd post some pictures as the tank progresses.

Goodies came in the mail:

Tank: 120 gallon All Glass
Sump: 30 Breeder
Protein Skimmer: 200XS works amazing!
Light: 4 bulb AquaticLife with LED moonlights- 2 ATI blue+, 1 KZ New Gen, 1 KZ Fiji Purple
Return: Mag 12
Using a filter sock as well
Live rock in sump for extra filtration

Stock:
Fish:
2 oscellaris clowns
1 possum wrasse
1 McCosker's flasher wrasse
1 Powder Brown tang
1 Mimic tang
1 starry blenny (I think it's a lawnmower that was PO'ed when I bought it and they thought it was a starry- I'm not positive it's a starry)

LPS, zoas and soft corals, SPS up high.

what did you use to mount the montis on the side of your tank?

I used a large amount of super glue then a huge ball of epoxy under the cap and above it and then a massive amount of super glue gel again. Then I push the cap to the back and press the top and bottom on the epoxy together. Hard to explain but it works.

Update Pics of some Corals-

BGM and BGM mutant- These are from the same colony- one got blasted and bleached from some MHs and then mutated in my tank after he gave it to me. It's grown a LOT and hasn't changed back to the normal BGM colors

Big Plate from WWC- Doing really well- The colors are super nice but I can't capture them for some reason

Crocea I've had for about a year now

WWC Laserbeam- this is a MEAN coral- colors are washed out again because of my lack of camera skills. lol. The eyes are red

My favorite SPS- Metallic black and green milipora

Also started running an ULN system. Started my biopellets a bit over a month ago. Finally noticing a HUGE drop in cyano activity. It's peeling and melting off the rocks. I keep siphoning it off the bottom too and it comes back less every time.

Thanks!!!! Just had to rip it apart to get the fish out to put the in QT for ich treatment so it now looks a bit different but I actually like it better now. I'll have to get some of those pictures up for everyone.

Update pics I took tonight. They're not the best pictures ever but pictures none-the-less. Got that nasty cyano and stuff under control and been having lots of success with growth.

Sorry the pics being so blue! Took these when the blue lights were on tonight.

Some cool chalice I got from a friend that colors up more and more every week:

My tiny pink ******* I got in a trade but it's super healthy and growing fast!

Purple Urkle...holy cow this thing grows like MAD!

Cool huge chalice I have. It's hard to see the colors in this picture but it's starting to get big purple stripes around the eyes:
