I figured I'd start a tank thread here. I previously had put together all the equipment needed to setup a 300g. Then I had to sell it all for some medical expenses. I thought I was going to be without a tank for a while, but my wonderful wife surprised me with a 75g for Christmas. She knew how much I missed having a tank.
The tank was up and running but didn't come with any livestock. I friend gave me two clowns he had in his sump, and I have added three chromis, a melanarus, and a male lyretail. I have a couple ideas for some other fish but not sure yet.
I redid the overflow to make the tank run more quietly. And I am currently building a new canopy so I can fit my lights in there. The other canopy wasn't tall enough and my lights would basically sit on the water.
So here's a picture of my tank below. And I'll update it with equipment, changes, and additions as I go.
Thank you for checking it out

Here's my old canopy and the cuttings I am using for the canopy. I just followed a billy pipes video on youtube and used 3/4" plywood (the good $60 a sheet plywood haha)

I had to catch my fish and move them to a qt tank to treat for velvet. Figured I would redo the rock work since I had to tear it down to catch them all. Since there's no fish in there I decided to add a few coral
