Matt's Elos 120xl

I remembered my Elos system. Pricey but worth every penny. They exemplify quality all the way and how easily the tank and sump came together through the stand was just a blessing

... but after that... we need pictures ;Snaphappy;Snaphappy;Snaphappy
These pictures can be of anything.
We give you that freedom.
Anything you say..

The tanks been traveling along okay, It hasn’t been at the top of my priorities for a little while but with some love I think it can be in a great place soon enough!

Haha nice! I have the same tank. Still trying to find a way to quiet my overflow. I have it dialed down pretty low but wanted to open it up.

How is your plumbing set up? It took me a while to dial it in but having a gate valve on the drain seems to be the trick bc of the 1 1/4" drain being so massive.

Don’t mind the wires - still a work in progress. I tried to soft plumb everything as Elos recommends. My sump won’t allow me to get a 1.25” ball valve in the actual sump. Where is your gate valve?

This was my original setup that worked fine.

I ended up changing to hard plumbing and don't have a current picture but the gate valve is in the same location.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Still looking real nice even with the lack of love :p
Thanks bud!

Matt's tank always looks good. Even when he tells us it won't ;)
Haha thanks mate!

Like Spanky mentioned a ball or gate valve somewhere on the drain below the tank can help a lot.
I actually removed the valve i had on my drain a few months ago just to check for cleaning and found the drain didn't become loud at all. So given enough time i think the drian slimes up and becomes much quieter.

I can't believe we have been waiting for months to see this tank and it really happened.... it still exists.
It was one of the reasons I kept hanging around here.
LOL

Looks good Matt, I hope you find some time for some TLC and get it back on track.
