Max flow thru sump with refugium

What’s the max gph I should put through my sump running a refugium in it thanks for the help

It all depends on what you're trying to achieve. 10x your volume used to be what was suggested. Now much slower is recommended to allow your refugium, skimmer and whatever bio filter you're using to do its thing. Brs has some good videos regarding the wwc/brs hybrid method that explains slower sump flow rates. I'm running approximately 5x turnover currently with great results.
