Max picture size

What is the max picture size that can be posted? Based on what I have tried to post I think it must be less than 2 MB.

jpeg mini is your friend lol some free options include tinypng.com (works with .jgp as well) tinyjpg.com and compressor.io
The file size limit was (is?) large it's probably the dimensions. They have a pixel h/w limit
