I have a Maxspect Gyre 350, and just upgraded my tank to a 125 gallon corner flow reef tank. The gyre doesn’t fit on the side with both sides of the gyre connected. I removed one of the blades, but now I’m concerned it won’t give me the power that it’s capable of delivering. Am I correct in my thinking? And what’s a good solution?

If you are trying to run unbalanced on only one side you're going to break the ceramic shaft or wear out the magnet housing. You can run the unit vertically if it will fit, or if you have a pair, move them to the rear glass. Otherwise, I'd run the single XF350 on the side it fits on and a standard powerhead opposite on the overflow side and set it to randomly pulse.
