I recently had to switch off all my equipment on my tank and on starting everything up again found that my Maxi doser no longer worked. All it showed were the 2 blue led's at the pump head, no top illumination and no reaction when pressing any of the pump buttons. Pressing "dose" from the control center produced no result either.

Switching out the power supply with a brand new one rectified the issue. It worked perfectly for a month until I had to switch it off again and now I'm back at square one. I can't afford to pay £30 every time I switch this thing off.

Any ideas or advice would be most welcome.

@Vinny@GHLUSA Not sure if Vinny can help much since he is USA support. But I tagged him and maybe he can help.
@Matthias Gross @MatthiasF These are the European people here on the forum.

Also this is the Ticket support web address. I would contact them here. The reason being is they might be able to replace your trouble powersupplies and this is the first step in getting help on that.

Do you have the power supplies plugged into surge suppressors or the regular wall socket? All I can think of is maybe a surge is nuking your power supplies.

Thanks for coming back to me. I'll try Matthias as a first stop. I just wondered if anyone else had come across this issue in the first place.

The unit is plugged into my Apex powerbar and by "switching off" I just mean turning it off via fusion software interface. I'd hope that no surge would be created by that. The bizarre thing is that I tried the power supply from my Doser 2.1 (they are the same model number) and it didn't work either, yet putting it back onto the 2.1 doser it worked fine.

Was just wondering if this is just some odd software thing.

Again, thanks for replying.

I’m positive there is absolutely nothing in the software that can sense one power bar over the other. If they are the same voltage and amp then it should work.

Are you swapping the entire power supply and cord? Are you plugging in to a different outlet in the house to test things? I would eliminate the Apex powerbar from the scenario.

This is the powersupply on my Maxi Doser. Mine is a universal style powersupply.

Yup, that's the same as mine as well as the replacement I got. I've not tried a different supply socket though. Good call. I'll try that when I get home from work.
