Maxi Jet 1200 too strong for 36G?

As the title states....? Seems like it's doing a good job circulating, but was curious if it was TOO much. I also have a Maxi-400 on hand that I can switch to if you all think its better.

I ran a 1200 on my 38g. 400 wasn't enough flow. I have changed to mp10 for flow variance. But, the 1200 is your best bet.
