Hi,

My maxijet says
110 gph powerhead mode
500 gph circulation pump mode

It contains an impellor to work as a pump and a propeller to work as a powerhead.

However Im confused which mode is which and the manual does not state this either. Based on looking at the flow in my tank,
The 'powerhead' looks like circulation mode.
The 'pump' looks like powerhead mode.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

My guess would be the impeller is for "pump" mode and the propeller is for "circulation". The difference in output would just be whichever you were using.
