Yeah, I have one in my tank : ) He’s fun! I have been feeding him some “re”-hydrated krill. He has grown a lot since I got him! He is now 4” diameter! Only and inch when I got him.

...just how big can this guy get?

Watch out, minimaxes are sticky as heck and will eat fish that get too close. But yeah, they'll get pretty hefty if you stuff them with food. I wonder if you could get it to split, if you fed it enough?

I new goal! Lol...my snowflake eel tried to steal a price of shrimp from him the other day... yeah... he paid for that lol

My fish seem to know to stay away from it : )

Maxis can definitely grab fish just like other big brother carpets. I love them but already have a haddoni in my main big tank. I didnt want to add a few to the other side making tons of space for my fish to avoid. So... I set up a dedicated maxi nem pico. There's two in there so far but i have 5 more acclimating in my sump to slowly get added. I can say that if your tank is appropriate sexy shrimp are a really cool addition to your maxi. Im pretty sure their a natural host for the shrimp. The shrimp wiggle right into them and i love watching them do their sexy dance in the nems all day. Just obviously you dont want to keep them with shrimp predators bc you risk the shrimp getting eaten or the nem eating the predators ;)

I seem to have a good balance right now. : ) Future new fish might be a problem... I do want more : ) My tankk can handle more. Especially smaller fish. ....and one more big one. I have not decided on what that will be yet.

I understand, i have a lot of little rock hopper type fish. Gobies, blennies, dragonet. I was auctually able to get the haddoni to establish in a little cove area where the clowns are really good about keeping everyone else out. Since the maxis dont host fish and my wrasses would likely be trying to eat any shrimp or crabs i added it seems like something that wouldn't work for me so i did a dedicated pico tank. Their super cool, i love mine, its just something to keep in mind when making other stock choices, i only mentioned it bc many people seem to think their safe carpets due to size. Here are mine, two are auctually in the pico the others ive aquired recently and am holding on the large tank to ensure health before adding. I do this with the pico because if anything isnt healthy its very easy to throw everything off balance.
