Will Maxi mini live under stock pc light on 14 bc ? Try to build maxi mini garden but not sure they happy.. Thanks

You want to know if they'll live or if they'll thrive?

Of course live and thrive... Kinda decided to put in my 14 bc or my DT.. Been do a lot read that explain they hate bright light like t5.. And if get to much light, they morph to green color.. Is this true?

I have mine 24" under 2 X 126w LED's and they all kept their rainbow coloring. I don't see any issue with T5's being too bright.

I've had mine on the sandbed of my 180 with 450w LED & 468w T5 for a few months now and if anything, the color has improved since I got it. Unfortunately, it attached to the back of one of my LR islands, but here's a quick pic:

Ok...that's really offered you no help has it :)

Your question: If the stock light (power compacts) on a 14 gallon biocube (2x24 watt?) will be good enough to keep these guys alive and thriving.... right?

In my experience, the stock lighting for my 12 gallon NANOcube (2x24w) has done really well for things like LPS, zoas, softies, etc. I doubt that you'll keep the fantastic colors of a nice rainbow maxi/mini with the stock lighting power compacts. I've lost color on some SPS and I don't think a maxi mini is going to appreciate that low lighting.

Just my opinion.

The reason I'm asking is my DT is 46 bow front... All full blown with zoa and paly, it have 6 bulb TEK light that I only used 4 of them and 6 bar blue power brite. So if i have to put in My DT, I'm going to float it with some kind basket... The worst thing is i just bought 7 Maxi mini and they be at my house tmr morning.. U think they be alright like that?

I think floating directly under the T5 might be a bit much. Mine stay on the bottom and even shy away from direct light at times. I know this is gonna sound like I'm an ***, but what's the plan to do with them long term. If you don't have room in your DT why did you buy 7? I'm not criticizing, just wondering
