Maxi mini split and then reattached itself?

So my wife asked me why the maxi-mini anem was so much smaller and i go take a look and it split overnight.

We both got very excited this was our first anemone and first split. A couple hours later it was fully rejoined and cant tell a split ever happened.

I've been searching online and can't find anything on this. Did it really reattach?

Sure looks like it. I have had that happen to a mushroom as well, however, not to one that has split and separated by that distance... Very odd.

Bingo! I thought my RFA did this, but it was just a hole in the rock. They can get in really really small places when they deflate.
