I was wondering how long a tank needs to be set up before adding a maxi-mini anemone? I have a 75 gallon that’s been up for about 4 mo. 2 clowns, a royal gramma and a pistol shrimp with a watchman goby. Looking to add 2 sexy shrimp and a maxi mini.

People will say 6 months plus, and that's fair, but that's because most newbies are unable to get their tank to a 'good' point early enough.

I chucked a mini maxi in my tank after my tank cycled after 2 weeks from setup, and it was super comfy from the get go. The tank is about 2.5 months old now and my mini maxi has just kept growing and growing, so that's probably a good sign.
