So I just moved a larger size maxima clam from my QT to my Display and since then he has been much more closed up than he was during QT, he still snaps shut when I put my hand over him but he's definitely not opening to a normal amount.
Is it normal for them to take more than 2 or 3 days to adjust.
I think hes on day 3 in the display.
The major changes were lighting, black box to reefbreeders, alk, 7 to 9.5 and ph, high 7ish to 8.3-8.4.
Display is at 79.5 average, calcium 450 and pretty much undetectable nutrients.
Thanks!

Hes at the bottom of the tank but right under the middle of one of the lights, I have multiple sps growing under the same intensity in my tank and all the other corals are doing great.

I did see a hermit crab on him a few times but I dont see any damage to his flesh or anything like that

More than 2-3 days, sure.
Absolutely hate being moved.
Just keep everything in normal check.
