Maxima Clam Placement Advice?

They do need a LOT of light. They also need a lot of Alk and calcium. In fact, keeping clams was the reason Danial Knop developed the calcium reactor, to keep up with the demand. That location looks great, assuming the byssal threads attach before it falls off.

Nice looking clam :)

It's is in SPS tank so plenty of light and ALK ect... What about water movement? There is a lot of flow in tank.

How is it doing? Just got one myself and not sure whether to put on the sand or nah, have a g4 xr-15. For your water to keep up are you dosing? I’ve been thinking about making my own salt with Red Sea bcs of the Calc and alk demand. Thanks!
