I'm working on a new build and am planning out my flow.

I am probably going to get a marineland 300 DD and add a custom calfo overflow across the entire back w/ bean animal mod. So I'll be removing the stock corner overflows.

I want to use the 2 pre drilled holes for mini closed loops. I'm going bare bottom on this build so my thought is to put a strainer on one hole, and a fitting with 90 degree angle so I could aim one eductor down the back of the tank and another one up the side glass. Do this in place of both corner returns.

Then have an eductor hooked up to a sea swirl centered on each side glass.

What pumps and what eductors should I use for each of these applications? I know pressure is more important than gph and have been trying to weigh benefits of iwaki vs panworld... any suggestions are welcome.

if you can afford the power bill, i like the iwaki pumps, i have two, they hold up well, but if you are running a 300 gal tank its just plain exspensive any way you look at it
