Maximum salinity

What is the maximum salinity I can mix water without creating hypo salinity cloudiness with Reef Crystals?
I want to have a concentrated salt mix on hand for when I need saltwater fast. I already have a 30g tote full of premix that is the exact salinity of my reef but sometimes I need a little more.
Any ideas?

Maximum Salinity? What are you trying to achieve? One thing I will say is to make sure that your tank is the same salinity as your reservoir you are keeping the emergency water in?

FWIW, this is a very old thread, but some of it is wrong.

You cannot make extra saline seawater without risking precipitating calcium carbonate, and heating it will only cause more precipitation as calcium carbonate solubility in seawater declines as the temp is increased.
