Maximus's 75g money pit!

Just snapped some really quick pic's, right after I did a bunch of scraping and mucking up the water.... So yeah they suck but oh well. They turned out a lot more blue than what it looks like in person.

The tank is a standard 75g 4' tank. I have a Vortech MP20 and a Koralia 1050 in the tank for circulation. I have a 6 bulb T5 DIY setup for lighting. And the skimmer is a Reef Octopus NW150 modded by Luke to pull twice the air as stock.

Looks good Maximus! Peninsula setups are my favorite.

I'm curious about the NW 150 mod, do you have any pictures of it? I have a Reef Octopus NW 250 and i'd love to hear of any mods

Mgdmirage, I actually sent the venturi and the pump out to Luke at SWC Skimmer and he mesh modded the impellor, and drilled out the venturi to accept a 3/8" airline. Then I took the effluent drain and removed the slide adjustment and glued a tight 90deg fitting on with a gate valve on that. Luke told me what he did doubled the air intake, he told me the numbers but I forgot them. He said that he would feel comfortable with this skimmer on a 120g tank moderately stocked.

As for my biggest clam I would say it would have to be a tie between my 7" Squamosa and my 7" blue Derasa. I have a French Poly Maxima that is right behind them though.
